About us
Vermeulen Tuinbouw is a great family business headed up by Albert and Angela Vermeulen. Even better is the fact that the business is to be passed on to the next generation – namely son Daan, who joined in 2022. The company has grown from 1 hectare of greenhouses in 2002 to 15.5 hectares of greenhouses in 2022.
Vermeulen Tuinbouw focuses on strawberry production. We produce strawberries and supply them to the commercial market from four sites spread across Den Hout, Made and Oosteind. Our head office is situated at Heistraat 9 in Oosteind, where some of our greenhouses are located too. The building was constructed recently and features all modern conveniences. It is also providing accommodation for several foreign workers who are engaged in supporting our greenhouse work.
